24 Oct Tucson Upcoming Event: All Souls Procession
For the past 28 years, Downtown Tucson has been home to the annual All Souls Procession where people gather from around the city and country to share in the vibrant cultural festival. Hosted by the non-profit, Many Mouths One Stomach, the event ranks among the largest celebrations in America. The main procession is a two-mile walk through the streets of Tucson, ending with the ceremonial burning of a large urn filled with public offerings honoring those who have passed. Participants can expect to see a myriad of artists, floats, music and performers throughout the weekend and during the parade. This year’s theme is “Sky Islands” symbolizing the isolated mountains and different lowland environments, of which Tucson is a part of. The weekend festivities will be from November 2nd – 4th, 2018.
Larsen Baker’s Vice President, Andy Seleznov, who has attended the event in the past, said it is a must!
